I brought some cotton cloth to give to the chief on Lamtorek and a pair of pinking scissors to cut it with.  The pinking scissors was a tool that these girls had never seen before and they were fascinated by the zigzag pattern which it made ... causing them to bring out their own pieces of cloth to cut the ends off in this "new style."
